Long Title Assessing for Dyslexia within a Special Education Full Individual Evaluation
Description This session will assist special education evaluation personnel in understanding the dyslexia identification process. Discussions will include the elements of reading, definition of dyslexia, and the process for the evaluation for dyslexia, including a review of the domains to assess. Participants will learn how to incorporate these elements into a special education FIE and how to differentiate between dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities in reading.
