Description We know that young students first need to hear the words in sentences, rhyming words, onset & rime, and individual sounds prior to being able to apply phonetic knowledge to decode reading words or to apply the phonetic elements in writing. Each 6 hour Early Childhood session will include 4 hours of Experiential Professional Development and 2 hours of Peer and Collaborative Coaching with Lesson Design to support teachers fulfilling the 15 hour PD and 15 hour Coaching HQPK teacher quality requirements. Please bring your laptop, tablet, standards, and any other materials needed to complete your coaching and planning time.
