Long Title Managing Mayhem in the Preschool Classroom
Description Without self-regulation, young children throw fits, back-talk, name-call, behave erractically, and withdraw. Self-control seems to be impossible. Unfortunately, this makes teaching feel more like policing. Through exploration of Conscious Discipline techniques, participants will leave with tools and materials to aid in creating a safe learning environment that fosters a child's ability to develop self-regulation and school readiness skills.
