Long Title Math in Early Childhood Special Education
Description Teachers intentionally plan mathematics lessons based on children’s interests, abilities, needs, and learning outcomes or objectives. Using children's math literature, teachers plan mathematics for daily whole group, small group, and individual instruction. Mathematical transitions, chants, daily routines, and questions help children start making sense of how math is used. Participants will explore ways to differentiate math instruction to meet the needs of PPCD students.
