Description IDEA requires that alternate achievement standards be linked to grade-level academic content to promote access to the general curriculum for students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities. Participants will learn strategies to adapt grade-level Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for students with moderate and severe disabilities with the major focus on the instructional component of alignment.
