Description Learning core vocabulary and how to use that vocabulary to build language is key for students with complex communication needs to actively participate. Core vocabulary is taught in the classroom through immersion and explicit instruction. Learn vocabulary implementation strategies and approaches for encouraging authentic reading and writing for those with emerging literacy skills. The emphasis will be on using AAC in learning and literacy development.
