Long Title Language, Learning, and Literacy with Core Vocabulary
Description Learning core vocabulary and how to use that vocabulary to build language is key for students with complex communication needs to actively participate. Core vocabulary is taught in the classroom through immersion and explicit instruction. Learn vocabulary implementation strategies along with approaches for encouraging authentic reading and writing for those with developing literacy skills. Focus will address coordinating AAC use in learning and literacy.
