Description This FREE five-day, 35-hour institute is a favorite of secondary history teachers. The agenda is divided into time spent with scholars, followed by breakout sessions featuring strategies on teaching the TEKS. Topics include: the Declaration of Independence, the influence of historical documents on the development of the U.S. Constitution, American documents before the creation of the Constitution, the Constitutional Convention, the Federalist debates and Amendments 1-27.
