Short Title Citizen Bee
Long Title Regional High School Citizen Bee Competition
Description This Regional Competition for high school students promotes civic understanding. Questions will be based on political, cultural, historical, and current events, economics, Landmark Supreme Court cases, the Constitution, Bill of Rights and other Amendments. Students will take a 30 minute written test and then answer questions in an oral competition. Winner will advance to the State Citizen Bee in Austin in May. Scholarship money is awarded for the State Competition winners.
